Balamohan Shingade and Chris Braddock, Beyond the Saffron Wave (2022)
Beyond the Saffron Wave was part of a series of activations on Braddock’s Conversation Mat (2022) in the exhibition, Equinox, at Ngutu Kākā, Auckland, curated by Balamohan Shingade.
On Thursday, September 29th, from 10am – 5pm, Balamohan Shingade was in residence at the Conversation Mat. He invited visitors to open-ended dialogues where he shared songs and poems from the subcontinent and sustained a day’s worth of conversation on the topic of how to live together.
